Hey! I’m Sophia, a third-year BFA Film & Television student at DePaul University, concentrating in production design. I’m originally from Southern New Mexico (the photo above is one I took at White Sands) and now based in Chicago!

I got into visual storytelling in middle school through a film and broadcast magnet program (I joined because my best friend did). That early start led me to keep creating all throughout high school, winning multiple awards and traveling across the country for competitions, and now into college!

In recent years, I’ve worked on a range of student and indie projects, and I’ve found myself especially drawn to production design. I'm obsessed with how it shapes the entire mood of a story and brings its world to life.​​​
